The Nintendo 3DS is almost finally here! Luckily, the United States will have a launch date of March 27th, 2011 coming with a price of $249.99. The price in my opinion isn't that bad. Yes, I know it is selling at the original Wii retail price, however the handheld system is supposed to have many new features.
The new features on the Nintendo 3DS system include and not limited to:
- Release colors of Blue and Black.
- Release of March 27 for North America and March 25 for Europe.
- The ability to take 3D pictures.
- Play 3D games without the need for glasses.
- A Web browser with a video capability within a future software update.
- An E-Shop like the Wii's Virtual Console which features Gameboy and Gameboy Color games.
- A system transfer for those who had a Nintendo DSi or DSI XL system. You will be able to transfer your games & applications at launch a limited amount of time!
I know for sure that I will be picking up the Nintendo 3DS on launch date here in America on March 27. I've already pre-ordered it and it looks like you might want to as well!
